Unscripted

Biweekly. No spam. Unsubscribe anytime.

No one handed us a script.

For students, job seekers, and purpose seekers figuring it out…

You came here with a plan. A degree, a visa, a city, a timeline that promised the next thing if you just kept moving. Then the market shifted, the political climate turned, and the internship that was supposed to anchor your year disappeared in a polite email. The plan stopped being the plan, and nobody handed you the next one.

Most of what gets written for people in your shoes is useless. The same lines, recycled on a loop: “follow your passion,” “network more,” “trust the journey.”Written by people who haven’t sat with real uncertainty in years, who confuse comfort with help.

Unscripted is different. It’s written from inside the same fog, by someone still inside it. Not advice from someone who arrived. Perspective from someone still walking.

This is a newsletter for the path nobody mapped. No playbook, because there isn’t one. No filler, because your inbox is already full. Just the things worth saying, and a quiet reminder that the version of you who figures this out is closer than it feels.

"Follow your passion.""Just network more.""Keep grinding.""Everything happens for a reason.""Get out of your comfort zone.""Just put yourself out there."

Break the cycle.

You don’t need more motivation. You need a different conversation.

Building

Behind the curtain of something I shipped or rebuilt. The design choices, the failures, what actually worked.
